Union Public Service Commission UPSC, has released the Notification on its official website for the Recruitment of Indian Statistical Service (ISS) & Indian Economics Service (IES) Examination 2026. This recruitment is for 44 posts. UPSC Application Form has started on 11 February 2026 & the candidates can apply till the 03 March 2026.   • Indian Economic Service (IES): Candidates must have passed or be appearing in a Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics from any recognized University in India.
  • Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Candidates must have passed or be appearing in a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics as a subject OR must have passed or be appearing in a Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics from a recognized university.
