1. Educational Qualification

• Class 10 (Matriculation): Students must have completed Class 9 from a recognized institution and be enrolled in Class 10 under HPBOSE or its affiliated schools.

• Class 12 (Senior Secondary): Candidates should have passed Class 11 and be enrolled in Class 12 in schools affiliated with HPBOSE.

2. Minimum Attendance

• Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in their respective classes to be eligible for the board examinations.

3. Registration with HPBOSE

• All candidates must be registered with HPBOSE through their schools or study centers. This includes submission of necessary documents and payment of examination fees within the stipulated deadlines.

4. Age Criteria

• While HPBOSE does not specify a minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in the board examinations, students should meet the age requirements as per the admission norms of their respective schools.

5. Passing Criteria

• To pass the examinations, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and practical components, as applicable.
