REET 2024 Class I to V Eligibility

  • 10+2 (Intermediate) Exam with 50% marks, along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (either completed or appearing).
  • 10+2 (Intermediate) Exam with 50% marks, and completion of a 4-year B.El.Ed. course.
  • 10+2 (Senior Secondary) Exam with 50% marks, and a Diploma in Special Education.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

REET 2024 Class VI to VIII 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education,
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 50% marks, along with a completed or appearing B.Ed Degree,
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed. Special Education Degree,
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks, and completion of a 4-year B.A.Ed or B.Sc.Ed course.

  • For Level 1 (Primary Teacher for Classes 1 to 5):
  • Educational Qualification:
  • Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks (for general candidates) or 45% (for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates) and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a graduation degree and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent qualification can also apply.
  • For Level 2 (Upper Primary Teacher for Classes 6 to 8):
  • Educational Qualification:
  • Graduation (Bachelor’s degree) in any discipline with at least 50% marks (or 45% for reserved categories).
  • Additionally, candidates must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute.
