• For IMA & OTA: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
• For Naval Academy: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• For Air Force: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream, but should have studied Physics and Math in 10+2.

• Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

  • Visit the UPSC OTR Portal.

  • Click on “New Registration”.

  • Fill in your basic details: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.

  • Verify your details using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.

  • Create a password to complete the OTR process.

  Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Log in to the UPSC Online Application Portal.

  • Click on “Apply Online” and select “Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025”.

  • The application form is divided into two parts:

    • Part I Registration:

      • Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and preferences for the academy and branch.

      • Choose your preferred examination center.

    • Part II Registration:

      • Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature (20 to 300 KB in JPG format).

      • Upload a scanned copy of a valid photo ID proof (20 to 300 KB in PDF format).

      • Pay the application fee:

        • ₹200 for General/OBC male candidates.

        • No fee for SC/ST candidates and female candidates.

      • Agree to the declaration and submit the application.

  Step 3: Print the Application Form

  • After successful submission, download and print the application form for future reference.
